Appointments and Recalls during Lockdown:

We remain open during lockdown to provide community eyecare. We are still sending recalls out to our patients, although these have been delayed for obvious reasons.

We are able to see you for routine eye checks, particularly if you feel that your vision has changed, need new spectacles or have concerns that need addressing about your eyes and eye health.

 

If you would prefer to delay your appointment, particularly if you are shielding or isolating, please get in touch by phone or through our contact page and we will reschedule your recall for a later date.

Making your visit safe:

We are operating a locked door & appointment only policy to ensure your safety by limiting the number of people in our practices at any one time. We have significantly extended our appointment duration to increase safety.

We may telephone you before your appointment to discuss your eyes and eyesight to reduce the amount of time you need to spend in the practice.

Please don't attend the practice if you have a cough, sore throat or fever, or have noticed a loss of taste or smell - we will be unable to see you if you present with any of those symptoms. 

On arrival we will check your temperature using a non-contact digital thermometer, and you will be asked to sanitise your hands.

All fabric seating has been replaced with wipe down chairs. After your visit all equipment, frames and and seating are sanitised.​

We have perspex screens in the reception and dispensing areas.

All branches have a 'Steroriser' that sanitises frames using UVC light before they are replaced on the display racks.

All staff have new uniforms that are kept freshly laundered.
